Free with ads
Plenty of films stream free with short ad breaks. In India, JioHotstar, MX Player and YouTube carry free films; in the US and UK, Tubi, Pluto TV, Plex and The Roku Channel have large libraries.
How to find them
Open any title and press Watch Now. When a free option exists in your country, it appears in the list beside the subscription and rental choices.
Library services
In many countries a library card unlocks Kanopy and Hoopla, which carry classics and award winners.
Classics to try
The Classics shelf, from Sholay to Jaws, is a good place to look for free options.
